Some words about KRAL 990 Classic:
KRAL 990 is made of 14 layers of hand-laid GRP total 20+mm hull thickness with stringers 60mm thick box fenced (3horizontal + 8vertical)and sandwich laid deck. The upper color of the hull is metallic car-paint (not plastic) with primer + 2layers paint + 2marine varnishes which gives a texture of porcelain.
The woodwork on deck is Sappeli Mahogany with 16 layers of handmade airless varnish (4sealers+6water+4sun/protection) and the boat gets 106 pieces of handmade INOX 316 St.Steel quality accessories onboard.
The whole cockpit is handmade and coated with Marine leather, the huge U shaped coach has been specially ordered with a bucket design and baseball stitching, and the helm is Leather with mahogany while all accessories in cockpit are made of Mahogany & Inox. The Dashboard is dressed with Leather/Inox st.wheel, wearing 17x white Faria-Heritage instruments with inox cups covering engine&yacht all functions, GPRs/Chartplotter, Depth-sounder, Clarion CD/Radio/MP3 4xw/proof speakers surround, Electric engine-hood piston, Hydraulic flaps Benet with trim indicator, Electric anchor windlass, etch. The Wind-shield is securit tinted glass 2ways curved dressed in a handmade Inox Frame.
The Cockpit U-coach can accomodate 8 people, closing on top with a useful canvas Bimini tent (mechanism). There is also a coolbox for drinks and many spaces for storage plus a separate ski housing cabinet.
The cabin is for 2 persons 1,80cm in height, all dressed with wood and leather & fully equipped with marine Kitchen Burner & Shink, Hot water boiler, Waste Tank 85lt, W/c fitted in opening leather coach, Fridge 30lt, TVDvd/Ant1 set, Shore power with 220vCharger, 220v panel with outlets, wardrobes etch.
The engine-room has double boulme, auto-fire extinguishing Bonpet, auto anti-flood control, full internal noise&fire protection, electric opening piston,lights, special air inlets design for the Intercoolers, plus a leather sun-bed on top of the hood.
The engines are 2xYanmar Turbo Diesel 2 x 315hp each 4,2lt 6cyl, assorted with the new generation hydraulic reverse Yanmar B3Feet/duoprop with supreme efficiency and fantastic maneuver ability. The Yacht max speed is more than 54knots! -and fuel consuming is about 80lt/hour at 36knots cruising speed.
In the Transom you can find the swimming platform, fresh water shower, a storage hatch, flagpole, port light, ski ring, Telescopic inox swim ladder, pop up inox cleats and the magnificent handmade air Inlets & Outlets curved with 990logo.
Due to the boxed hull the boat has an IMCI certificate of Module Aa and Marine Category B-Offshore at 9,90meters and because of the double side carina she has a beautiful steering taking stiff turns under big angles. The upside water-drop design is giving a narrowing transom with hull steps so its less surface on water that equals to less bumping, the angle at bow is at 33degrees cutting waves like knife, the cheeks of the boat are twist-reversed, giving midship max beam of the boat so it throws all the water spray only sideways (not in cockpit).
